My pen punches harder than my fist
I’m a free spirit no shackles on my wrist
In the realm of sages my cathedra exist

I’m a revolutionary with tales to tell
Battles I’ve fought, wars won; victory I yell
Picture my rhymes liberating minds
Words are powerful giving visions to the blind

I’m not a writer
I am the voice that speaks the truth to the heathen
I am the dead consciousness of the youths awakened
Rebelling silence of men, outpouring of poignant words spoken

I’m not a writer
I’m a renegade, a threat to the corrupt establishment
My adversaries wish to see I get a capital punishment

I’m not a writer
I’m a guerrilla fighter.
