When I Died
i saw you dying in my arms
you sent me into the night with the song of phoenix
the moon was rising into your eyes
it was the one lonely source of light
left there
your tears were pouring down my face
you screamed wishing they were my own
you screamed for me to stay a little longer
but we would always want to stay a little more
just a little
i saw you dying in my arms
you handed me to the lips of night with tune of phoenix
the stars were rising into your eyes
and pouring out for the memories
a small reminder sealed in the skies
that i didn't get to tell you
that i love you
you sent me into the night with the song of phoenix
the moon was rising into your eyes
it was the one lonely source of light
left there
your tears were pouring down my face
you screamed wishing they were my own
you screamed for me to stay a little longer
but we would always want to stay a little more
just a little
i saw you dying in my arms
you handed me to the lips of night with tune of phoenix
the stars were rising into your eyes
and pouring out for the memories
a small reminder sealed in the skies
that i didn't get to tell you
that i love you
