- - - ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE - - -
A rusted knife in the back
In the dark staring through a crack
Watch masked ones plot and contrive
Forging ahead with blatant lies
Nothing is as it once was
Once upon a time
Now littered with a lying breed
Just tell me, exactly
What was my crime?
I don't know what I'm fighting for
I don't want to do it anymore
The struggle at the end of day
Outweighs, leaves me one foot in the grave
Once there was a happy home
But now it's long since dead and gone
I tried so long to pretend
That there was something at the end
The making of a great fool
Damned upon a time
Now litter with a dying breed
Just tell me, exactly
What was my crime?
I don't know what I'm fighting for
I don't want to do it anymore
The struggle at the end of day
Outweighs, leaves me one foot in the grave
The balance of scales
Undone and derailed
Leaving me in the gutter
Would blood be dirtier than filth
What would you do
In my shoes?
I don't know what I'm fighting for
I don't want to do it anymore
The struggle at the end of day
Outweighs, leaves me one foot in the grave
