Love is Dead
Love is a Myth
Love is a Lie
Love is something I must let die.
Love is poison creeping through my veins
Leaving nothing behind but severe pains
Love is something so far away
Something I dare not say
For if I try, surely I would fail
My heart grows so very, very frail
The warmth slowly fades away
Quicker and quicker the ice does decay
If love is a flame, it is losing fuel
Losing to the ice, ever so cruel
But strength is what the ice may be
It is all so cold, calculating and true
My heart now gone from red to blue
If love makes me weak then it must go
Because surely I will never know
The warmth, of another hearts glow
The touch of another I used to yearn
But now I’ve learned what I needed to learn
The world is dark, malevolent bliss
The only truth lies in Death’s kiss
When my time does come
To the abyss I will succumb
I with the dark, the dark with me
Forever shall I always be
Love is a Lie
Love is something I must let die.
Love is poison creeping through my veins
Leaving nothing behind but severe pains
Love is something so far away
Something I dare not say
For if I try, surely I would fail
My heart grows so very, very frail
The warmth slowly fades away
Quicker and quicker the ice does decay
If love is a flame, it is losing fuel
Losing to the ice, ever so cruel
But strength is what the ice may be
It is all so cold, calculating and true
My heart now gone from red to blue
If love makes me weak then it must go
Because surely I will never know
The warmth, of another hearts glow
The touch of another I used to yearn
But now I’ve learned what I needed to learn
The world is dark, malevolent bliss
The only truth lies in Death’s kiss
When my time does come
To the abyss I will succumb
I with the dark, the dark with me
Forever shall I always be
