So What's Next?
Laying in bed I can't help but think
"What if life is deeper than it seems?"
The books they say are non fiction
What if they are our reality?
They always said to "write what you know!"
What if all you know is a tragedy?
Monsters under the bed,
Who's to say they're just a nightmare ripping at your sheets?
Fairies dancing 'round your head
Who's to say it's just an imaginary friend?
TV, technology, books, commercials, everything
What if it's just there to hide what is real?
Why can't we see what's so clearly there?
We're taught to be what we are expected!
To see what is "normal"
That all those creatures of the night and fairytales are child's play.
Society is nothing without corruption.
So what's next?
Creativity. Individuality. Imagination.

It is so easy for me to slip into vicarious living. Assuming the personality and other character traits of someone I've seen on Netflix etc. It's all an escape from ourselves. It hard to learn to love ourselves. I am glad I discovered your work. I hope you are not living the life described by your profile name. 🌺 🙏
