I'LL BE WAITING...
If I should die soon,
I would be that light shining from the moon,
Of course I will miss everyone I love,
But I will watch over you from above,
Please don't be sad or blue,
I will be up here with God waiting for you,
All our memories made me go with a smile,
It will hurt, but only for a while,
You made me strong in many ways,
Brought a smile to my face on sad days,
Remember that my love for you will never die,
But for now we have to say goodbye.

No, clearly you do not understand the poem. Its not about lust (don't know where that comes from). It about being okay with letting go of another person that die and not needing to stay in pain.
