Choice

 

My choice of mate is carefully made
In many respects she must make the grade
Can she join in a conversation?
Contribute to the deliberation;
Can we discuss moral ethics,
And a paintings aesthetics?

Is she friendly and humane?
Sympathetic to another's pain.
Practical and homely too
With a generous life's view.
I hope she is not a prude
But relaxed when we are nude.

The perfect mate is hard to find
The top priority is her mind,
Our personalities  should match
For her to be a long term catch
And last, not least, she must be willing
To make our sex life fulfilling
