All those eons seem so dull and grey
As I'm doomed to walk these days
Bitter winds bite through cemeteries
In the face of enemies
When the years drone on and on
I can feel the aching in my bones
Disaster is in the fall
Cascading into the maw
Our fate is cast into the stone
To pay for crimes we can't atone
To lay to waste all that is true
Destroy all hope inside of you
The whispering demons remind me
Sins reborn in pride of greed
Pave the way for annihilation
With no hope for salvation
Awash in innocent blood
Oppressing laws written for fraud gods
Can you stand to face the day
When you're face down in your graves?
Our fate is cast into the stone
To pay for crimes we can't atone
To lay to waste all that is true
Destroy all hope inside of you
How can I inspire hope
When I have none myself?
Where are the answers
To this riddled Hell?
Here at the precipice
At the end of the world
Dig down deep, I guess
And open another door
