Skin-Tone

Who are you?
Are you the one they call father?
That puts our lives in danger
Who are you?
Are you the protector in a uniform?
Compromising peace and reform

Who are you?
Are you the messenger of God?
Killing for the price of blood
Who are you?
Are you the owner of the place?
Wearing a monster’s face

Who are you?
Are you the builder in every floor?
Reluctant to open door
Who are you?
Are you the anointed prophet?
Heralding a false faith

Who are you?
Are you the preacher in robe?
Commands us to applaud
Who are you?
Are you the weapon for creation?
That brought us destruction

Who are you?
Are you the bearer of all life?
Standing on verge of strife
Who are you?
Are you the lover of the night?
Whose eyes denied light?

Who are you?
Are you the son or the daughter?
Unable to respect others
Who are you?
Are you the one accused of a crime?
Willing to do their time

Who are we?
Are we the children from above?
Who creates our own God
Who are we?
Are we the sinners and saints?
Shaping future with dull paint

Who are you?
Who are you really?
