There's some that jog your memory
and some make you forget
there's some you just can't live without
but wish you never met

There's some that will expand your mind
And some that make you dumb
Some make you hypersensitive
while others leave you numb

Some leave you feeling warm inside
while others leave you cold
There's some out there that make you weak
And some that make you bold

There's some that last a lifetime
and others, not that long
Some have a hold you can't escape
but most are not that strong

There's some out there that lift you up
while others weigh you down
Some bring a smile to your face
while others leave a frown

They all have one thing in common
they all can give you thrills
But choose your poison wisely
