When the love has gone
In the Spring morning light I look across at you
When we first met you were fresh like morning dew
But dear those days have long since gone
I try to put my finger on what's changed
Just don't know what it is but it feels strange
I can't hep but wonder what went wrong
I feel empty, to life there must be more
Over your shoulder I constantly look for the door
Girl I don't blame you, don't think it's your fault
You used to hold me in the palm of your hand
But recently your body feels like a foreign land
It's clear you no longer hold the key to the vault
This will forever be the day things came to an end
I know you want to stay close and be my friend
It's clear that we've hit an invisible wall
Ive become tired of living this facade
I have to leave even if it makes you sad
And I won't take you back even if you crawl
