Writing Notes and Singing Songs
I'll cling to you
holding on to each thought
breathing it all out
in with you
through the notes
strengthening our resolve
higher the pitches
going unheard
but we hear
fine tuned
in our souls
singing songs deep down
to our very core
so we might share the silence
this solitude smile
awhile longer,
before whispering goodnight
the day drawing to a close
finding us writing another I love you note
our souls yearning to be singing it out loud.

The whispers of the soul so crave to be shouted out to the masses. It seems very rare that they ever are though. Beautiful introspection. Much enjoyed.
