Beautiful Friend

She rocks me to comfort,
She rocks me to sleep,
She wipes off my troubles,
And my tears when I weep.
She's something, I tell you,
And She's, somehow, into me.
I know She's not perfect,
But She's flawed perfectly.
I find I often think,
Of those big, hazel eyes,
And even when I Dream,
Her spell's got me hypnotized.
I'm happy just to know Her,
And see Her Heart shine,
But every time I see Her,
I wish Her lips could meet mine.
I know they'd be great friends,
And miss each other when they part.
Such a Beautiful Thing,
Is the purest of art,
Cause She rocks me when She's here,
And She rocks me from afar.
It's like She gets me high,
And sends me off into the Stars.
I'm happy just to see Her,
And how Her Beauty glows,
I crave to feel her presence,
More than She could ever know.
She's funny and so smart,
And Her smile's set to kill.
And when She comes around,
She is the cure to every ill.
I'm glad She isn't perfect,
And doesn't try to be.
Her Beauty's in Her flaws,
And that's just what's attracting me.
I don't know if the Time,
Will ever be so very kind,
As to keep Her in my life,
As long as She doesn't mind.
I'm happy She's my friend,
And if that's all, that's all I need,
But there's still time and, until then,
I'll still hope our lips can meet,
I'll still hope that She wants me,
My Beautiful Friend.
