You don’t know my secret pain
the pain I hide from everyday
with every smile that just fades
with every word that I say
you say I look okay
Well that’s just on the surface
Nothing about me is perfect
It’s safe to say that I’m worthless
I’m stuck in this life with no purpose
And nothing you say will make me forget this

I think the poem and its title are contradictory, which is fine if you intended it, but if you cannot love yourself you will never be capable of loving another.
