I long for winter's breath
To pass beyond lips of death
No matter how hard I try
I just can't please Lorelei

I hear her song
Sweet and deceptive
That's promising
Deliverance
From this Hel

Lorelei, right beneath the surface
Of glassy water's caress
I long to feel her kiss
Carry me to endless bliss, Lorelei

A man without a world
Exists outside of the fold
There's no excuse for his scorn
Leave him ragged, bled and torn

But still her song
Pale and seductive
Is like honey
In her laments
From her Hel

Lorelei, right beneath the surface
Put me in water's caress
I long to feel her kiss
Carry me to deathly bliss, Lorelei

What magic is this?
Faerie queen incarnate
Spinning webs
Of sorcery, intricate
But her candles burn
'Neath waters churn
With mulled wine
We celebrate

At last the peace was found
Not in tombs underground
But beside frigid rivers
Where she stares back like mirrors

You hear her song
