will you
Will you care for me in the state that I'm in,
My world has blackened my love was shattered,
The glass shards that scatter through these broken
Veins only bring me pain,
Will you still hold on to what remains,
As I strain to pick up the pieces of myself,
Fighting to keep this shell from expelling
All hope of regaining faith in humanity,
While bracing these fractured ribs for each blow
Father time hands to me,
Will you still stand by me while I'm kicked down
Constantly or will you abandon me,
Will you caress these scars with a gentle touch,
Press against these cracked lips or shush,
My attempts to whispers such inconceivable ideas,
Will you embrace these thorns before they dull,
And fluff into cotton and lumps of leather,
Will you Change the sewing to make it acceptable,
Will you appreciate the artists hand as it scalps
A defect or reject the art completely,
Or will you see the beauty in it's entirety
And let me fill in the parts that's missing with my affection and yours
Will you?
