Steel Pierces Rose
Poise the dart of deadshot lie, and peeled empty spaces.
Ring the heart, and stab the eye of your adorning faces.
Steel pierces rose, soft tangle of stones you place along the walk.
I won’t impose, know that you love to everhurt me in talk.
And the bleeders will all stop by to place palm to milky flesh,
Bottom feeders will feign their cry as you draw them in afresh.
Need their attention, not my love, I finally begin to see.
Screw this tension, won’t be part of this label handed to me.
Corset of lace can’t dig skin line when you reveal it for free.
Beset the face of he you dine on, entice your next travesty.
Abrasions false, I will not dance the whispers you have given.
Your timeless waltz leaves me no chance to die your unforgiven.
Asphyxiation, that’s not you, that’s me choking on your show.
The truths you shun with pauper’s view, the victim ever aglow.
Love, my great feat, you rip to shreds again, and again, and again.
Head bowed—defeat; let all turned heads see steel bleed once more…
“You win!”
