I think of you
I think of you as I read my favorite book.
I think of you as I drink my favorite beverage.
I think of you as I lay at night.
I think of you as the tears stream down my face.
I think of you as the hole in my heart grows larger, taking your shape.
I think of you as I beg for god to take away the pain.
I think of you when the sun sets.
I think of you as the sky turns grey when it's about to rain.
I think of what we could have been and what you are with her.
I think of you with your arms wrapped around her, knowing it should be me.
I think of your lies as I read our messages of broken promises.
I think of you as I look through the pictures saved in my phone.
I think of you as I wish for happiness but filled with grief.
I think of you.
