Forbidden
Glances,
Looks,
Stolen touches,
In the crowd.
She looks at me,
Grey eyes filled with wisdom.
My own,
Filled simply with wonder.
With a racing heart,
And electricity rages.
Hidden,
We dance,
Never touching.
Never telling.
Forbidden,
We live,
Barely.
Monsters,
We may be,
To our own,
To each other's,
For being in love.
Magic
We are
To one another,
Yet, we don't meet,
Don't speak,
Don't.
Can't.
Can't exist,
Can't love,
Won't.
Won't even try.
Shouldn't even wish.
But we do.
