He Likes Me
He likes me
He smiles at me like that,
Looks at me like that.
We just met.
We talk and listen
Run the corridors
Chasing whatever it is unfolding in front of us
And after a long time
I felt warm and fuzzy
Again
I felt...something.
Something nice.
Maybe this is just First Day Blues
Maybe he likes me because I'm weird, I'm new, I'm different
I warned him about my crazy
He said he almost loved me already.
That's crazy.
If this thing of ours is fleeting
I say "Carpe Diem"!
I think too much before
It only led me nowhere.
We'll get to know each other and court
Like real teenagers here do.
And I
I will feel it.
Like a real girl.
Like the stories I only read
And heard about.
This is real!
Is it?
Well, what do you know...
I like him, too.
He smiles at me like that,
Looks at me like that.
We just met.
We talk and listen
Run the corridors
Chasing whatever it is unfolding in front of us
And after a long time
I felt warm and fuzzy
Again
I felt...something.
