Fatal attraction
Dawn cracked and the sky shattered,
The smell of death lingers from my matress,
I asked the sky to pull itself together but the rain,
The rain wouldn't let it,
It was never about soul it was more about control
We just had to have it even after we broke up,
She tried to patch it calling my phone every second,
Using my empathy for hearing wemon plead as a weapon,
So I was forced to stop listening, void of all sentiment,
We cannot have a future if we destroyed the history,
2 pulses playing tug of war for for position our pride,
Wouldn't let us submit so our dominance left us stricken,
I decided to try distance, you decided to try differently, now
We stuck at the same spot I would advise compromise,
But neither one of us would listen it'll start out fiyah lead to
Competition then end intimate, what a blissful dispair to
Lay so close to a life force that leaves you striped from
Your air to witness it wither and dissipate our mere presence
Cause our selfs to decay the sun and moon can't share a day
And feel equally made
So when dawn cracks and the sky shatter just remember
I cared I really did care,
The smell of death lingers from my matress,
