Center Stage
Somewhere
In between the dance
The crazy pas de deux
In the drowning two-stepped
Rhythm of you
I bend
And whether it is
A cricket waltz
Or a falling leaf jitterbug
Something
Turns me back to you
Lifting, we merge our bodies
Separate, we merge our souls
And something
Definitively Gershwin
Flies out in the way
You make me scream
Gathering up fistfuls
Of lust
I take myself to my knees
And in the spotlight
Of your will I take
