SAD EYES
I always thought you had such sad eyes
Deep gray pupils swimming in a lining of clear water
And a deep glowy look;
Almost like our cat does glare at night.
I always thought you had such sad eyes
Now am looking into them so dark and hollow
I realize it was purity and love not sadness that shone in this eyes;
My darkness sucked all the light from those eyes.
I always thought you had such sad eyes
Deep gray pupils swimming in a lining of clear water
Now i look into those dark pupils staring back in a hollow glare;
I took the warmth in your life gave back emptiness and cold.
I always thought you had such sad eyes
Now i realize they were mine not yours;
A reflection of my sadness in your eyes
Only you took my sadness and made it yours.
Negativity is infectious,what about the vows we make?Peninnah Ng'ang'a.
