Mine is no sad story,
rather, it is only a reflection of true life.
It has its ups and yes, it has its downs-
It has some twists and turns,
Its ins and outs.
Life is a series of pitfalls
And mountain tops.
The pitfalls remind me
of the mountain top's sweetness.
The mountains tops remind me
to engage my hope in the pitfalls.
Life is inevitable.
Hope is a choice.
