Saving Endangered Species

 
Saving white rhino
On the surface seems
Like a clever idea
But then we need
Their horns to make
Aphrodisiacs to encourage
Pandas to fuck
Then we observe
Their every sensual move
Maybe it’s just me
But I couldn’t raise
A smile if I was
So closely being observed
shagging.

In our attempts to save
The unsaveable we are
Just fiddling about with
Nature, not allowing
Natural order to decide
Who stays and who goes
What arrogance we have
Human ego unchecked
To thinking we can interfere
With natures system
The world is for ever changing
The environment is too
Nature allows species to
Go with good grace
We should allow the same
One day Nature will
Select our species
For extinction
Pandas and rhinos
Will not lift a finger
To help or save us
They are in tune with Nature
They know that Nature
Can not be tampered with
Without consequence
We are endangered species
