Silent Voices
close my eyes to see my future
my sprit transports from my flesh
while my body lay still upon satin sheets
see my life under another sun
one that shines dimmer as days go by
where luving voices are silent
cold shivers run thru my soul
try to waken but remain in slumber
as dreams reveal my destiny
walking thru a beautiful forest
tree tops kissing clouds above
sun streaking thru them radiantly
faceless mysterious soul of emptiness
walks beside me staring thru my soul
whispered voice unknown eerily chanting
forest turned cold with disenchantment
trees began to shrink into darkness
voice silenced with only my footsteps I hear
finally awaken on a soggy pillow of reality
realizing friendships that won't always be
seeing that you're already silencing your presence

Yes Sweet S......friendship is sacred......but to some it seems worthless......I have learned to just walk the other way......no matter the pain......thank you for leaning......luv and hugs xo :)

I really hate to see you in such a sad mood Flower. This combined with your other new submission. But it's lovely. I was thinking it could be astral projection at the start, but as it went along it just seemed like a dream. I wish I could have more like yours.
Crow you always have such a temder soul.......feel so much into what a person writes......thank you for a glimpse in......I believe dreams to be reflections of what our hearts feel......I have found many of them to be true......by the way.....I'm ok....luv and hugs my friend......xo :)

Well, Miss Flower, I don't know if I should smile or cry? There is so much going on in this piece that it's hard to decipher what is real and unreal? the songs pop in my head yet again. The start of the poem brings Stevie Wonder's "Cold Chill" to mind but then the rest makes me think of the elegance of Enya's finest tunes.
