Cheshire Smile Behind The Veil
With cyanide kisses
and chlorine eyes
She left me blind
to all her lies
As mad as a hatter
with twice the charm
They failed to warn me
of the harm
Convinced me that
I could not fall
And left me feeling
two foot small
Right through the cracks
she disappeared
Left me to get me
as I'd feared
And in a flood
the fuel returned
She struck the match
and watched me burn
and chlorine eyes
She left me blind
to all her lies
As mad as a hatter
with twice the charm
They failed to warn me
of the harm
Convinced me that
I could not fall
And left me feeling
two foot small
Right through the cracks
she disappeared
Left me to get me
as I'd feared
And in a flood
the fuel returned
She struck the match
and watched me burn
