Inner Child & Big Brother

{Inner Child}  
 
I want to cry  
but I can't.  
 
Big brother won't  
let me.  
 
He locks me  
in a cage  
 
and tells me  
   
"keep quiet  
or else I'll  
beat you."  
 
It hurts so much,  
I want to cry.  
 
I beg every time,  
Please let me cry.  
 
I'm sorry,  
I'm going to cry.  
 
 
 
 
{Big Brother}  
 
I can feel him inside  
wanting to cry.  
 
but I can't let him  
cry.  
 
I hate showing weakness  
more than anything.  
 
I'd rather get angry  
than cry.  
 
I don't hate him,
I just die a little inside.  
 
Every time he cries.
