A letter to my harrasser

When you said I would never do better than you
I knew it was just another one of your lies
Those crystal eyes, with no disguise
That you thought I couldn’t see through

Hey there dream crusher
Thought squasher
I thought you were my peak?
But I’m happy now
So stop telling me how
I was wrong for all those dreams

Guess I got kinda busy
Achieving all you didn’t want me to
Hope you found somewhere for your suspicion
‘Cause it never really went with my suit

Sorry I couldn’t lie around for your
Downward self-comparison
I know you’ll cry if you have to crane your neck
So, I guess you’ll never see me again

Your anxious preoccupied attachment style
Has got you going pretty wild
Your sensitivity to rejection
Means you should have seen this comin’

So stop telling me I’m a social elephant
In a room where you’re the unwanted
If you want peace of mind, it’s not my fault
That all your dreams are haunted
