Invisible

It's not that we're per se invisible that others won't notice us, it's because certain people have reduced us to invisibility over time. If we're able to cast off the invisibility spell they've put on us we could shine again. It's a sad though wise and deep poem. Love it!

So true. It's strange how we develop such comfort with those closest and begin to take their presence for granted; like a pair of comfortable shoes. Be more polite to a stranger than the one we hold most dear.

There comes a moment where we realize that the ones we love most,
are the ones who can hurt us like never before.
It takes time and alot of skill to look at the bigger picture,
What's important is ourselves, always put yourself in first place.. because at the end of the day it all comes down to yourself.
Nice read, I liked it in particular when you went from weak to stronger than ever before.
Sometimes we need to be broken in order to see what cannot be destroyed.

This write was inspired by an x. My first heart break; second and third. Took a long time to see myself through my own eyes and not his.
