O Vos Omnes
O Vos Omnes
(Oh You People)
Is it nothing to you who pass by?
All you people is it nothing to you
My grief, my torment
You do not see, you do not hear
I am as one who mourns for the dead
Keening and wailing for that which is lost
Lost forever and shall be no more
Is it nothing to you, who pass by?
Is it nothing-my sorrow, my pain?
Can there be any sorrow
Like unto my sorrow
Too deep for words
Too raw for tears
How can you turn your head and look away?
All is gone now
I am left behind to suffer
To rend my garments in anguish
I cry to the heavens for forgiveness
But it is no use
My cry goes unheard
I am alone
And oh you people
All who pass me by
Is it nothing?
Is it nothing to you?
