True Love Or Just A Lie
Laying in the shadows of my own pain and sorrow...
Waiting for Him to come and save what is left of my broken heart today...
Not know if He has forgotten the promise He had made...
That our love is true and could never wither away...
Will He honor our love or allow it to die...
Such a gift we have shared...
Was it shortly lived or will He allow it flourish and soar to the heavens so high...
Was it true at all...
I wonder, was it....

In my experience, "true love" can prove to be nothing but a "lie". Not sure if the reverse could work too, but anyway, I thought this was a lovely little write. Lots of sadness and lots of hope and desparation for that significant other.
