I wrote on this the other morning. It's been going on a lot lately. And I love waking at 3 or 4 to the thunderstorm.
I'm listening to a storm this morning. There is rain against the splinters and thunder echoing through a field of lightning. Such an ordinary thing, the morning storm; peaceful, unrelenting, unaltered, the storm's divine. I like it here, it's quiet and comforting. Where there are no flashes, there is darkness still.
