In The Mind

As people , we have certain freedoms.
The restrictions put upon these freedoms
stems from a progression towards
eliminating them.
It is set forth by fellow people,
just like ourselves.

Imagine the things we are free to do
on a day to day basis in comparison
to third world countries.

Why we ever thought we could co-exist
and be on their soil
dictating a democratic way of life to them
is.....
mind boggling.

It has been nothing short of a complete and utter disaster.
We, as people, are destroying ourselves.

The most volatile and misguided terrorists
are still running around
eliminating and de-facing sacred buildings and artifacts
that can never be replaced.
They have killed thousands of innocent people
and will continue to kill more.

Historical landmarks are being erased by
living , breathing and space taking heathens.
We are too afraid to go take control and unite
as nations with a purpose of creating peace.

So, those soul-less holes  that value nothing but their eventual death....
keep going,  
keep killing,
and keep cholking on the bones of hope.

If only there was a way to control the freedom kept firstly, in the mind,
so that positive thought processes be allowed to continue....
and negative, harmful emotion driven evil be eliminated at the source.......
in the mind.
