Autumn thoughts

As I Lay down to sleep,
Not making a peep,
The gentle caress of an autumn breeze,
Fills My Soul with Such ease,
It brushes my cheek like an old lovers touch,
Yearned by some So very much,
Silence is peppered by stacatto soundsof the night ,
Yet elusive from our sight,
Cool gentle as it glides across the face,
feeling like an unfamiliar lullaby
From Some forgotten distant place,
Washes over like a gentle stream,
Memories of a misplaced dream,
From Rapture's shoreline,
A humble place of the divine ,
Tasting love's wine,
How it fills one's soul,
Making you helpless like a newborn foal,
Yet filling up with such a warmness,
Subtle calmness,
Feeling it to your very core,
While you soar,
Up in the heavens upon high ,
Letting out the most content sigh,
Sliding into a warm bath water slowly,
Tensions melt away languidly,
Eyelids drooping,
Sandman's magic working ,
Off to the serene plains of sleep world,
As the barriers become unfurled.
