Eulogy for my Cat
We buried the
Cat today
And
It seemed sad,
But
In reality
The feeling was
Relief.
Sitting in the
Shed for
Months.
In the
Harsh
Winter
We found
Unusable
Frozen ground.
I tried to
Cry or
Come up with a
Eulogy.
I searched my
Mind and it
Was blank.
The
Body
Lowered
Into
The
Hole.
Covered.
All done.
