The Best Moments ....
Are quiet and beautiful
Requiring no sound
Passion of self and my companion
On the morning dog walk
She's almost 14
Brown with varying shades of gray
A woman with grace but pees like a male
She never was easy and smart as the day is long
We are probably in the twilight years
An ending I hate to think about
Appetite still strong, coat bright and shiny
Every walk a blessing, grateful to bring her home
