Making Love Songs
Cover me with sheets for shade
Before your chocolate hair melts over my shoulder blades
Skin caramelized by candle light
His eyes darken like coffee
Waiting for my plea
Suddenly your eyes go sherry bright
As I receive a piece of your soul with too much delight
I tremble for another
And before its morning death
Let the illuminated moon hear and see
Coming out of our breaths
Another love song soon to be
Before your chocolate hair melts over my shoulder blades
Skin caramelized by candle light
His eyes darken like coffee
Waiting for my plea
Suddenly your eyes go sherry bright
As I receive a piece of your soul with too much delight
I tremble for another
And before its morning death
Let the illuminated moon hear and see
Coming out of our breaths
Another love song soon to be
