I’m Trapped in a Painting

Skies in full blue
With clouds moseying along
The rays of sun beaming down on us
So hot, best to not forget the sun screen
Taking your hand into mine with a basket full of food in my other hand
You, carrying the blanket on your shoulder
Heading to the park where we will sit and talk
Eat some pb&j as we make silly jokes
Silly jokes soon turn into naughty flirts
Resting my hand on your bare leg to push are feelings further
My eyes moving from down those short shorts up to that bright yellow top
You lift my chin up, then we both laugh and smile
The sky starts turning gray, guess it’s time to pack up
We walk back hand and hand
You look at me then say you love me
I say I love you too
We kiss, once… well, maybe a few more times
