My Power, Protection and Strength

You're always under my exterior,
But nobody knows you are there.
You're only visible to my mirror,
But you're the reason they can't help but stare.

I have confidence when you're close to me.
You give me power, protection, and strength.
Without you, I don't know who I would be,
But to find out wouldn't make any sense.

I will keep you forever my secret,
And I will bring you wherever I go.
At the very least, you make me decent,
And nobody will ever have to know.

You, darling, help me through each rough hurdle.
You are my hidden, yet trusty, girdle.
