Over and again

Washed it away
The sorrow of the day
Even though it hurts
It re-ignites my worth

Time flowing slow
Nowhere for my thoughts to go
Back to the past
Sorrow re-invents it's grasp
Over and over again
The dreams inflict my sins
More and more it grows
Until it finally consumes me from within

I try and try
To stay alive inside
Like a shadow creeping in
I can't forget so it wins
