Never to Say Never

You grow up and realize several things
You're as good and as bad as they are.
You put them on a pedestal
Or maybe not.
But I think that you stop being a kid when you get them down from there
Although childhood sometimes lasts a little,
And others, too much.
Surely there they kept themselves from the cold that the days
As they passed,
One by one, slowly, ceaselessly
Inflicted upon them.
However, with relatively scarce effort,
On board of the platform of the passing of the years
There is where you end up too
Without noticing
What's really happening
Even though it's no coincide at all

You, you that hears me in the distance
Before losing this moment
Of intrepid lucidity
I confess you would have been
My loved one
Confidant in this chaos named world
That is what it is and nothing else,
That upon realizing it we get down on our knees,
And cry.
You,
Don't you realize you should have forgiven them by now?

And when you leave childhood it's like this:
You forgive them and become like them.
