Paint for Peace
Finally something
simple,
The only place where my
stress can’t weigh me down
I carry only physical
weight,
A backpack with paint
and my modern necessities
Once I stare at the
wall,
Nothing else exists,
Just a fresh canvas,
Where my mind conveys
its creativity
Each line, each color,
each shadow
The messages composed
like music notes in my head
They shoot into my hand
And are released by
every touch of the cap
My piece flows with my
thoughts,
Clear, free of anxiety
and worry
My only true safe haven
from myself
A joy to live for
