my pops was born in 30' and used to sneak into Ebbets before you was born whippersnapper, how can cigar smoke, viceroys, and dentyne almost get me weepy (really) it's that damn dada with his stench of love wafting from his reminiscing reveries - with love & respect to you (kinda gone in the here now) and those gone gone going gone out of here long ago over the wall and still sailing on - gone in days gone

Ha...my Dad was born in '30 as well (May 20), but was no BB fan....my first memories of BB was in 1957, 5yrs old, & most of the neighborhood in stunned disbelief that the Dodgers was gonna be gone. One of the older kids gave me my first BBCards...a short stack from the previous season('56) My Dad could care less (Mom too)
