Im no quaff
Tomorrow is another day
I close my eyes and I wake up
With no disguise I can’t see
To realize you aint got much
Much to wear, much to do
No one to compare events ever lewd
But I’ll swear in thoughts unto you
Neither here nor there
Will this shadow forecast you
Though that’s maybe going far
Really any simple thought
For im always left ajar
Beseeching through the drought
All so sudden I am startled
By the ringing of a bell
Holy crap
man its morning
“I was asleep” my conscious yelled
What the heck was that dreamin
And its seeming mental qualm
Whats its meanin
Am I fiendin
Damn I need to find my bong
I am seething and believing
Luck
Has to swing my way
You just watch
Im no quaff
Eventually I will be ablaze
Where the light will shine upon me
Better yet I am set
With these thoughts and to mention
A purple haze that will beget
A state of mind benevolent
That’ll allow me to divide
All so sly into vibes
With much logic on the rise
I close my eyes and I wake up
With no disguise I can’t see
To realize you aint got much
Much to wear, much to do
No one to compare events ever lewd
But I’ll swear in thoughts unto you
Neither here nor there
Will this shadow forecast you
Though that’s maybe going far
