How many steps to now?
Too many for me to count
Why this point in time?
After all that's passed me by

All the steps we made

Leading right into today
And right in step by two

Steps by chance, or choice, or fate
Clinging on to faith and hope
Someday they'll fall in place
Like the moment my eyes saw your face

I don't need to analyze -

I don't need a reason why
I leave behind the steps I know
And find myself in step with you
