You make my burden lighter
Make me feel so much stronger
Underneath a feather in the wind
Responsiblities a blur
Revision sat in dust
Where i left you before
Before you took my soul
Before my mind only obeyed you
So simple, so wrong
But I can't help myself
Another toke of your hypnotizing beauty.
Distancing myself from the world
I felt all but sin
For all i need is you.
So I'll take this new route
But i'll still get there
Even if im high.
Vivid lights bursting colors of spring
As i sing the songs of depression
Voices echoing through my mind
Trapped within my own absence
My lover through a green mist.

blatantly a 'Drug' poem :P
I love it, it's romantically tragic.
It has a contradictory intimacy which is sometimes easy to corrupt, but you've kept it simple and almost innocent.

So, you're sort of in love then? It sounds like all the traits to me. The poem hints at insecurity too. Nice poem though, I enjoyed it.
