Fast Living
In the womb where my bother
and sister once lay
In the womb where my life began and
thrown from the cradle to the grave
In the bed, where almost nothing happens
because I can't help but be a little queer
In the school where the kids play and say
that others around them make it all seem strange
Knees knocking on seats because the height
makes the being scrunch and crunch
Making myself laugh at night because I come
off to myself as weird and soothing when the water breaks
In the hospital, where I now lay
Family gone and past and thinking of
all my life mistakes
In the coffin where I lay
Not breathing or wheezing
Just a stray hair away
From dust to kingdom come
and sister once lay
In the womb where my life began and
thrown from the cradle to the grave
In the bed, where almost nothing happens
because I can't help but be a little queer
In the school where the kids play and say
that others around them make it all seem strange
Knees knocking on seats because the height
makes the being scrunch and crunch
Making myself laugh at night because I come
off to myself as weird and soothing when the water breaks
In the hospital, where I now lay
Family gone and past and thinking of
all my life mistakes
In the coffin where I lay
Not breathing or wheezing
Just a stray hair away
From dust to kingdom come
