anyone who goes against the jackass
is treated like a fool

They'll encourage you to think outside the box
but throw you in a cage if you follow through
your average addict gets better treatment
than someone who works for their daily bread

The eagle has a fucked up sense of humor
and your siblings have a superiority complex
they'll tell you that you're just being paranoid
when you're actually paralyzed

First thing in the morning, five days a week
the children all pledge, in unison
their allegiance to the liars and thieves
and aspire to become part of the machine

Machine heads are filled to the point of bursting
with pointless and useless knowledge
and convinced that theirs is somehow better
than all the rest

But there is yet hope for your personal identity
you can be seen as an individual
so long as you refuse to conform
exactly like the kids dressed in black

We promise to keep religion out of politics
so long as all our candidates are Christian
'cuz our money clearly states "In God We Trust"
and it would take alot of work to change it

You can do whatever you want, though
just don't go upstream
or the sacred, secret police
will be kicking down your door
