Fuel Me
Thank you for fueling me
your eyes your smile could almost set me free
I saw as you were walking past
that glance towards me inside I smiled back
But on the outside I was afraid
What could I do what should I say
Your hair was perfectly flowing
hands looked so soft
I imagined holding both
I imagined we had talked
Then suddenly I noticed I was writing once again
My hands furiously releasing that which had built up within
This is beauty yet it's deadly I admitted to myself
To use your own curse as a tool it may be fatal or could help
I must try to correct this but in the meantime I'll just write
Every fantasy you create in me
Thank you for helping me take flight
your eyes your smile could almost set me free
I saw as you were walking past
that glance towards me inside I smiled back
But on the outside I was afraid
What could I do what should I say
Your hair was perfectly flowing
hands looked so soft
I imagined holding both
I imagined we had talked
Then suddenly I noticed I was writing once again
My hands furiously releasing that which had built up within
This is beauty yet it's deadly I admitted to myself
To use your own curse as a tool it may be fatal or could help
I must try to correct this but in the meantime I'll just write
Every fantasy you create in me
Thank you for helping me take flight
